This is a must see. The royal artillery college was housed here and this castle has a fine collection of armor from medieval times for history buffs. Great views can be had for those who are willing to climb the 150 steps to the towers!

We were unprepared for how beautiful and almost fairy-tale like this amazing palace/fortress would be - both the exterior and interior rival Neuschwanstein! This is a must see if you're in the town. Outside is very good you can see the remains of the moat surrounding part of the castle. The inside of the castle is well done and very informative.

Great introductory view of Segovia, at a place that is tough to get to by walking. Great place for family photo.

Damaged by a 19th centurry fire but faithfully restored to its medieval splendour. The audio guide is excellent, a piece of Segovia which represents the height of its importance.

Lovely views of the entire Prairie. You can see from the sprint and everything looks amazing especially at night. It's a very romantic place to be with your loved one.

Several reviewers suggest going here after the castle, but I recommend going first, as it gives you proper perspective of what you are about to see. Once you are right up next to the Alcazar, you might not fully appreciate its scale and grandeur. The Mirador is in fact a lovely park with a stream and walking trail as well.... More
