It’s well worth a look and the €2 entrance fee. The ornate plaster on the outside walls, a feature of buildings in Segovia, of which there are some 300 designs is amazing. The nuns are still in residence and although a closed order, a shop...More

We were staying right next door to here so decided to take a look around. Gorgeous building as they all are in Segovia, this monastery is a little out of the way from the main areas but well worth a visit.

We went in the afternoon and found it closed, but enjoyed the exterior. Not worth the walk if it's closed, so check the hours. A sign in the door advised that it's open Wednesday to Sunday 10:00-2:00 and Tuesday to Saturday 4:00-6:30 (closed Sunday afternoon,...More

Had much more expectations from this place but unfortunately I was disappointed, given that you pay a good price to go in and then you are very restricted, such as no photographs !

For a small voluntary fee you can enter, get a tour of the unfunished Church or sacked, and then enter the convent and see amazing relaxing views sitting by a pond that produces thousands of gallons and gallons of fresh drinking water daily.
