Getting up to the turn is worth it. From there, Salamanca is very well view and in all directions. Towers are architectural wonders.

This is the "new" cathedral. You will enter it first and you will be amazed at the beauty of the structure and the interiors. It is absolutely worth your time to stroll through it to see all the craftsmanship in putting together the incredibly Broque...More

This church has a very cool dome. It’s an easy walk from the Plaza Mayor. I enjoy churches and this one is nice. You can go up the the top if you want. Worth a visit.

This is the Clerecía's answer to Ieronimus (don't miss it either). Perspectives are unique, some stairs involved but not too many. Do bring your camera.

We decided only to see the towers and it was a great experience as you get a magnificent view of Salamanca from the two towers. Please note that if you are afraid of bights the stairs might be a challenge
