The tours in English are infrequent, but well worth the wait, it was the highlight of Leon for us.The guide was good, and answered questions fully as well as giving a thorough explanation on the tour.

We stayed in the hotel that is attached to the museum. We were lucky enough to get on the English tour. This is like the Sistine chapel only way older. Absolutely stunning frescos. Probably the best thing in Leon besides the cathedral.

The church is beautiful, but the best is the Museum, where you can see wonderful romanesque original frescoes and very interesting pieces from the XI to XIII centuries. Bedinetely a must.
