Not too big a place, but crammed with exquisite works of art. We got a tad confused as we went first into the cloister of what was originally the main hospital in Toledo. We found ourselves in the temporary exhibition space, which was about the...More

Highly recommend this lovely smallish museum. Housed in a beautiful building, the collection is largely religious with some 1400-1700 artifacts. Several El Greco paintings as well. Reasonably priced at 4 euros each.

The place itself is very beautiful with an old cloister. The exhibitions were amazing (historical and contemporary art). A must see in Toledo.

Beautifully set out with wonderful works of art. Mention that you are over 65 and it is free! El Greco's altarpieces were amazing.

This building has expansive ground floor exhibits and vaulted ceilings. We did have to use stairs to visit some secondary displays but the good stuff was at ground level.
