The Cathedral is well worth the visit especially with a guide. Centre of all the action. Steps away from the shopping area,Jewish Quarter and the many cafes and restaurants in the area. We often ate at the Lizarran(free wi fi) and reasonably priced. Their tapas...More

Gorgeous cathedral - good idea to view this first as you begin your tour around Toledo. The cathedral's artwork is really worth seeing, apart from the architecture of the place.

The Cathedral is feast for the eyes, both at a close inspection and from the city limits where you can glance at this majestic building towering over the city. Its also a great visit to wonder around the cathedral itself, even though its crowded, but...More

Holy Toledo! Kid you not. I have never seen anything like this. Allow 3 hours if you want to see everything and soak it in. Climb the tower.

We spent at least 3 hours in the Cathedral. Rick Steves is right - it is a mini-Prado. A must see!!!!

We have travelled all over Europe and have visited many historical churches including the Vatican....I was so surprised to see the beautiful workmanship, the art by Grecko and Goya...plus jewels and crowns! The Catheral of Toledo is outstanding!

Beautiful inside. Tons to see and appreciate as you wonder throughout this cathedral. Toledo is a great city to wander around in. Get out to the city walls and enjoy the views. Check out the city gates, bridges and little sights in the neighborhoods.

The only cathedral I have seen a person turned away for improper dress was St. Peter's at the Vatican. If the shorts are presentable and not work out attire, you will be ok. It is a respect issue but you won't be called out... More

I went in the afternoon and perhaps because it was not high tourist season (was there September), I waited perhaps 20 seconds as there was only one person ahead of me!
