Beautiful train station!

Unlike any other in the world. Signage easy to follow. Station had a small restaurant, toilets and a few vending machines. Taxis were abundant.

Beautiful train station on the look in front of the building. Dont rush when you come in to Toledo. Look back to the front of the station as close as you can.

We used this station to catch the high-speed train to Madrid (35 minutes). The station is the terminus and only hosts the trains to Madrid. It has excellent architecture a high-tech ticket office (we were recommended to book our tickets in advance) and an excellent small café for the thirsty traveller

We arrived in Toledo on the first morning train from Madrid and blew the the train station to the on/off bus because we didn't want to have to wait for the next one. After a pretty full day we returned to the station early, because we did not want to risk missing the last train back. This gave us about... More

One would not expect a train station to be so amazingly attractive architectural wise. This station was completed around 1920 in the Moorish style and is a wonder to behold. The detailing inside and out are very intricate and stunning. Upon arrival, it is a wonderful introduction to the ancient city of Toledo.

I never thought that I would submit a review about a Railway Station. This is the terminus for the line from Madrid. Take a look around it is worth a picture or two.

What is more perfect than a trip to Toledo, than arriving at an exquisite neomudejar train station? Like a gorgeous mini Alhambra palace, the decor is elaborate and stunning.

What an absolutely beautiful building ! Tile work, lighting, woodcarving all excellent. When we arrived in Toledo by train, instead of rushing outside to get to our hotel, we stopped to enjoy the beautiful interior hall, and upon our departure actually enjoyed waiting in the hall for our train

The station is funky, with detailed brickwork decoration and an efficient way to catch taxis in front. With our baggage, there would have been no other practical way to reach our hotel. The escalator into the city is not obvious, and it doesn't get you far in any case. But the small station itself was fine.

Historic building which can be viewed from the open topped red tourist bus that stops for about 5 minutes in order to take photographs. Historic details are given with the multilingual audio system
