This city chose not to be home for Frank Geary's Guggenheim museum for reasons that it might spoil the image of one of the largest concentrations of Belle Epoch architecture in all of Europe. This museum exemplifies that desire to remain true to that principle.

Nice old style building containing some lovely paintings from the early 20th century and also some very odd "art" such as a rose in a condom instead of a vase! It is next door to the Library (biblioteca) good luck on getting into that one!...More
