As mentioned already - feeding time in the aquarium is 12:00 so come just before to see the sharks etc being fed. The exhibits are good albeit with limited English language information, but remember you are in Spain. With a translation app on your phone...More

A local gave us the tip to come here and eat in the restaurant. It turned out to be a great recommendation. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the aquarium and other exhibitions about Cantabria and its nautical past and to round it all off we stopped...More

Well laid out and well thought out. A museum of the history of seafaring Cantabria. Artefacts, models, audio visual dsipalys make this experience a delight. The aquarium is good as well, but the atention to detail makes certain this museseum is head a shoulders above...More

We had a great time at the museum and aquarium. We arrived just before noon when a diver feeds the fish and the sharks in the big tank. Definitely worth it if you can be there at this time. Lots to look at here. Plan...More

The place has a decent aquarium, although not of the caliber of Osaka and Lisbon, two of the world's most extensive. There are also whale and dolphin bones, models of ships, and other artifacts of Spanish maritime life, going back to ancient times. Definitely recommended.

Nice little museum, went early to see it and only six other people were there. Quite interesting to see all of the displays. Descriptions were in English and Spanish. Told a good story of the area

I was quite enthusiastic about the idea of visiting a maritime museum, especially knowing about the great Spanish armada, sea exploration, conquests, ... I mean the list is long, right? Well, I was quite disappointed. It's small, it's boring, and they remind you on every...More

We were lucky to be visiting during the Ray feeding time so watched a diver in the large tank hand feeding the Rays, sharks and some of the many other fish. However there really isn't much else there, apart from a small display on the...More

Stopped in here as had a few hours wait before our ferry. Nice little place with a decent sized aquarium and a roof top cafe which we had coffee in watching the boats go by. 8 euros to get in though :/

This is ideal for a rainy day. Perfect for families and friends. One of the staff members spoke English which was great. 8euro isn't bad but probably not worth that much for each person. The cafe and restaurant are very nice.
