i ve been once, with friends. Amazing black beach with nice waves. Unfortunately that day was raining. Easy to get, nearby there is a nice restaurant where you can eat also fish with cheap rates. Check this out.

A very nice place to visit when in Puerto de la Cruz, it has a nice bar at the bottom where you can also server some quick snacks. The sand is clean and BLACK :)

Visited in January, it is a beach of beauty but not for safe swimming. The sand is black and the waves are huge with strong currents. The area is spotlessly clean and worth a visit

The beach has black sand which ia its main attraction. However, because of the big waves, swimming is nearly impossible (although the waves are fun). There are no umbrellas and people usually bring their own. Beware of the very hot sand.

Very beautiful black sand beach. Quite challenging was to get there with one small kid and a baby. We did the hiking from puerto de la cruz through banana's fields.
