We came here for day visit it was still hot in Tenerife even though it was the end of November. The pools were pretty cold though but it didn't bother my children and my dad they swam loads. There are toilets situated all over. There's eating and drinking places which are also reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful.... More

It's a reasonable price to spend a day here and there are changing rooms and refreshment spots. On crowded days you may not be able to get a sun shade and they only allow one per group even though you pay! So take plenty of sun cream as you may get burnt. The water is clean if a little too... A very nice place, calm with good views. We spent two days here. One of the days the water level was really low in the morning but filled up during the day. Decent temperature in the water (december). Spectacular when the waves splashed in area close to sea. Restaurant was OK. Worth a visit - even with the entrace fee.

For 5.50 euro this place is amazing. The pools are stunning and the location with the mountain backdrop of puerto de la cruz just adds to it. Definitely make this a visit on your itinerary.

A nicely sculpted series of pools and we loved the ocean crashing into the outer walls, sending spray into the air ... but bloody oath if you're looking for somewhere warmer than the ocean (or your arctic hotel pool) to swim in December/January then this ain't it. In fact, the ocean is a far better bet. And free. Picture folks... More

Surrounded by the Ocean and the Promenade it really is a relaxing venue. The whole area is open so if it is windy then there is very little shelter. It is a very picturesque area with the sea in the background but it is not a waterpark with attractions so do not look for a "wild" day.

In the winter the water is too cold to swim for most, but the area is very large and is easy to find a place to lie down in the sun.
