The tranquility of this walk combined with the special view from the summit make it a must for any visit to La Palma. Very well signposted in general, just ignore the temptation to loop left at waypoint 9, continue straight on up.

What what a beautiful and tranquil spot - completely different to the somewhat dry and arid terrain we had found during our stay on the western side of the island. Looking for something different we packed our hiking gear and headed of for Cubo de...More

Nice cool walk through the trees, up the gorge on a good path, quite a climb, but an easy walk, lovely views.

16th March 2016 - The walk to the gorge is closed. Signs indicate it is due to rock falls. No access by car or on foot. Best to check at information centres whether it has been reopened before heading there. The entertaining cockerel at the...More

This trek is stunning and easy! You must do it as it can be done in 1h. You start at the visitor centre and go up until you are surrounded by "helechos" and you find a post that directs you to either La Galga or...More

We totally enjoyed a day walking through this fabulous Gorge! Well signposted, helpful staff at the Information Centre. Excellent day out. Strong boots, plenty of water, a packed lunch and walking poles recommended
