We thought this place would kill half an hour on a day when the weather was cloudy and dull. How wrong we were. The ticket price allows you to go out and come back later, it includes entry to a 3D film and planetarium events which are timetabled throughout the day. It also includes a discount in the Elder bar/cafe... More

Nearly everything here is an interactive learning experience, seeing those "hard to grasp" physics concepts we tried to learn in high school. Wish more museums would incorporate this concept, for all kinds of learners. If you'd like to be out of the sun, and learn a few things while enjoying yourself, plan on heading to the Elder Museum!

For Eur12 we spent the day among the interactive exhibits and the film shows provided. Wonderful value for money.

Went here because of the good reviews, and we were not disappointed. It's a lot of funny things to do, as playing with electricity and the different elements. Something that we especially enjoyed was the robotica machine, that sendt us for a fun ride. Recommend anyone traveling in Las Palmas to take the trip.

An enjoyable museum with lots of interactive exhibits to play with (and learn from). The outside walls carry placards on the geology and fauna of the island which are well worth looking at.

A very well laid out and pedagocically excellent exhibition of physics and its practical application, even if the selection of topics seemed rather haphazard. A lot of engaging hands-on experiments at hand, and the many school classes that were attending during my visit had a hey-day. Very cheap for seniors (3 Euro) and something to be recommended, particularly on one... More

The museum is interesting and not very small, but cannot compare to some other museums of science and technology, such as that in Chicago or even Belfast. But then, it is much cheaper than those museums. It is interactive, even though there were quite a few exhibits not functioning when we were there. On the upper side, there is this... More

The museum not only exhibits stuff, it shows you how things work. You can try yourself how various physical and technical principles work. Spent a lot more time there than I had planned. This is a museum for both grown-ups and children.

Really interesting museum, plenty for all the family to see Aunt interact with. If you love pressing buttons, turning knobs and practising little experiments, you will love this place. We finished our visit with a film show which was in English. Great value for money with entrance fee of only 5 euros.
