A nice beach to spend a few hours... Great sand. But the view towards the industrial harbour is not so nice... Not tempting to swim...

This beach felt pretty sorry for itself. It looks deserted and feels as though it has been forgotten about. The play area at the northern end is OK but that is about its only redeeming feature. A few homeless are around the area too. Not...More

Used for beach volleyball etc but at other times pretty deserted. Looks out over the port area so not as pretty as Las Canteras beach.

This is the second, often forgotten beach of Las Palmas. Definitively Las Canteras is better but an alternative is the later gets crowded. It's easy to access and great for sports.

Quite a quiet beach but not really worth going out of your way to visit. There are no waves so it's unsuitable for surfing. The water also isn't very clean due to it being so close to the port. It would be better to walk...More

I don't like beaches and parks near the autostrade. However they are quite popular here in Las Palmas. Beach has some sand and playground for kids, but I prefer Las Canteras.

It is very well located in front of Alcanaveras barrio and Ciudad Jardin. Not the greatest views but the beach is clean and close to the by bike station.

Of all beaches of Gran Canaria, this one is the least recommendable. It has sand and sea, period. Sitting on the beach, you're looking at containers and cranes. If that's your thing, this is your kind of beach.

Quite a nice beach although it does seem rather "hemmed in" by the port area! Even so there is a nice promenade for a gentle stroll. Definitely worth a look but the main Playa De Las Canteras is by far the better beach.

Lovely clean beach worth a visit but it is next to the port and main road so don't expect paradise! Good to stop off at if you are walking into the port area or to the main beach
