Visited last Saturday evening with the Carnival in full swing. Spectacular costumes. Very enjoyable night with crowds of Spanish people having fun.

Different cultures, different people, the smells, the cafes, the bars, the restaurants and the atmosphere make this unique.

Go on Saturdays around 11 am. There you’ll find various local music groups and dancers performing for about an hour. Costs nothing and it’s most agreeable. The musicians are always happy if you buy their cd’s. But there is no hard sell.

We only went to this park as we had been been told it was where we could get a bus to the old part of Las Palmas. This proved to be correct. What we saw of the park however confirmed the view of others that it...More
