The market was closed on Sunday 17 Jan despite being told it was open in the tourist office and the signs on the doors also stating it would be open!!

This is one of those recycled old markets in which you can find many options to eat and drink. Tastes from around the world are served here. It is not specially cheap but great quality. If you go to Las Canteras, try it!More

Had an awesome night eating tapas and drinking beer. It was full of locals having fun. You can choose food from different places and then eat it together. Don't forget to check out the stalls both in the inside and around the outside the markedMore

Spent a couple of months in the area. Visited several times, great atmosphere for casual dining and drinking. Very well located. Can accommodate groups (not your bus sized) easily. Enjoyable place to chill.

The Mercado del Puerto, offers tradition and modernity, perfectly restored, inside and in the perimeter there are great bars and dining activities. Walking distance to Playa Las Cateras, I recommend this place.
