A well preserved house from the 19th century, full of the writer's personal furniture and knick-knacks. It gives a vivid picture of life in the 1890s, in a middle class milieu. The guides are very helpful.

This is one of his family homes and it has furniture that he designed, small paintings that he painted and information about his books and life. For me a magical place.

The bad news is that now you have to pay for the ticket. 3 EUR (or 1,5 EUR for groups of 7 and more). The good news is all the rest: the beautiful house, the impressive furniture, the sympathy of the staff, the very detailed...More

In a quiet corner of Triana is the birthplace of Galdos, the best known Canarian author and playwright. A short walk away is the theatre bearing his name. We've tried to find English translations of his work, so far without success. Remarkable that we know...More
