I never quite got to it but it is on your skyline most places you go when trekking in the island and is quite the most dramatic feature of the high mountains of its central region. Seeing it appear out of a cloud is a memory I will not forget in a hurry

We hiked here, and met people who took the car to the neighboring car park, so do not expect them to be envied. The rock is 60 metres high vertical column, so you cannot get up on top easily.

The trek from the car park to the site itself is a bit of a hike if your fitness levels aren't that great. I went back to this site for some night photography and it was a great idea.

From the parking spot you take a trail for about 30 minutes which leads to the roque nublo plateau. Be sure to bring some warm clothes as winds can be quiet chilly. After you made it to the top the view of the island is fantastic.

Spectacular views. The route is not too tiring. Worth seeing. Access road winding and would not recommend for someone who has a fear of heights

Almost in the middle of the island you will find Roque Nuble. I visited this place many times already with friends from all over. The visit is a day trip coming from Maspalomas and returning via Mogan passing through a wonderful scenery.

Loved walking up to this Rock and seeing the amazing views over the valleys on either side. Not too difficult a hike, less than 2km in distance from road but obviously ascends. Very limited parking though. But we'll worth it.

If you don't walk up to Roque Nublo you haven't visited Gran Canaria. The walk will show you the beauty of the island and will make you feel like you really are in paradise. The day we went was windy but still was worth the time, the picture and the experience.

The road are sinuous on the way there but when arriving at this "attraction", you have to drive through a pine forest picnic area (on our route anyway). Lots of people having barbecues and very, very crowded. It's the first massively populated area we have come across in a few days. Driving on down the road the chaos that was... More
