    A thoughtful visit
A good visit to the convent. As others have said it can be combined with a visit to the cathedral. There were about seven or eight rooms of antiquity in the building with a well looked after and manicured courtyard. There was definitely a sense of reverence but I found the Chapel slightly sad as all the pews and everything had been removed in place of worship which needed a bit of restoration on the ceilings. However I appreciated the sense of quiet and thoughtfulness the place encouraged.

    A wonderful place to visit
The Cathedral visit in Ciutadella, included entry to the Convent. This was a wonderful and calming place to visit with beautiful cloisters and exhibit rooms. Once a week (Tuesday?) there is a guided tour at noon in English to the upper floor and rooms which are wonederful. The history of the site is fascinating the Convent should be on your itinerary.

    Well worth a visit
Beautiful convent. Well worth a visit. There is a 12.00 tour with Joseph. He is thoroughly knowledgeable about the history of the convent and indeed Spanish history generally. Cannot recommend doing his walking tour enough. There is a secret Chapel with frescos and a beautiful tour of the upper rooms.

    A tranquil place
A very enjoyable visit which was so peaceful. The central cloister section is beautifully maintained and is surrounded by little exhibition rooms. I suggest if you see the cathedral you buy the extended ticket which includes the convent.

An Amazing experience not to be missed
Ticket from Cathedral gave free entry to the convent, however there is an option for a guided tour of the upper floors which we chose. So glad we did as the archivist showing us round was able to tell us about the history of the island, Ciutadella and the convent. (Spoke excellent English). There is only one tour a day at 12 noon, so plan your day accordingly. As part of the tour we had access to the organ loft which allowed us to view the painted ceilings of the church in more detail. When the guide opened the door to the organ loft it was a definite WOW moment. Views from the upper windows over the city were stunning. 10/10 fabulous

Beautiful courtyard garden and cloisters with lots of fascinating artworks and historical artefacts in the museum and galleries within the cloisters.

Ideal for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The mix of birdsong in the garden and some classical music played over the PA adds to the tranquil nature of this little haven.

Don't miss out on wandering into the cloisters and discovering all the rooms and the stunning chapel.

A ticket for the convent and the cathedral costs only 7 euros and can be used repeatedly throughout your stay. Also handy for using the loos!

Great historical visit - along with a visit to the cathedral.

Lots to read & take in but interesting.

Also peaceful to sit in the garden & enjoy some peace & quiet.

Well worth a visit.

Also toilet facilities on site.

Included in the admission price to the Cathedral, the Convent is an oasis of calm. The rooms off the cloister also contain museum artefacts and paintings. The information leaflet from the Cathedral also includes information on the Convent, its history and buildings.

Decided to purchase tickets for the guided tour as it was due to start. So glad we did. We were the only people on the tour so it felt very personal. Our guide’s knowledge was amazing- the tour was around 1 1/2 hours & we were taken ‘behind the scenes’ to view the upper levels
Definitely worth taking the guided tour rather than just viewing the displays on the ground floor

You can visit the ground floor of the convent for a 5 euro entry fee; it's interesting, and you see inside the church, but for the full experience take the midday guided tour. It is worth every penny of the 12 euro charge. Our guide, Josip, works in the city archives and not only told us about the convent and its history but also set this in the wider context of Menorcan history and that of Ciutadella itself. And you see the parts that others cannot, as well as get an explanation of why the church frescoes appear to be in such bad condition. They always have been! Apparently the substrate was wrong which resulted in much loss within a few years of their completion. Josip explained all of this, identified the subjects of the main paintings, and took us into the choir (different view of the church) and the library, explaining what the books were and showing us one of the volumes. The tour lasted just over an hour and was probably the best historical experience of our trip to Menorca. Brillaint.
