Amazing that the most beautiful square in Menorca is a car park.
Surrounded by palaces, overlooking the port, just 200 meters from Menorca Cathedral.
But what you really see is a lot of cars surrounding the square, something unthinkable in any other tourist city in the world.

Tried to enjoy it here, but a mucky red haired lass harassed me. She played horrible music on her guitar and ruined the expereinece, as it was like nails on a chalkbard. She's was a few French fries short of a happy meal. Chimney's clogged.

Took a few photos overlooking the port. And I guess a spot for a tourist photo. Otherwise nothing special

This square is great for people watching and has so many little streets off it. They have regular markets here and have lovely views to the port. There are many shops and cafes around this square.

Beautiful water fountains and statures over looking the Cathedral on one side and county hall on the other. This is a lovely place to sit and hear the falling water and watch the world around.

An imposing obelisk dominates the placa with the Town Hall on one side and the marina and port and the buildings of the old town on the others , not much else to the square which is spolit somewhat by the cars being parked right up to the placa itself.

Surrounded by elegant buildings, including the City Hall is a place to rest, between the shopping streets and the port. You can feel the sea breeze and the bustle of the people, enjoying the moment

You cannot miss this square as it has the landmark obelisk in the middle . The tourist office here has now moved into the large public building next to the square . Small market here on a Monday . Bus stops to local place next to square

Surrounded by palazzos and pre-modern buildings, restaurants, the theatre and administrative buildings, Placa des Born is a landmark of Ciutadella. The Obelisc erected in the middle of the plaza, dedicated to the people that fought against a Turkish army sieging the city in 1558 is really spectacular. From of the North-West side you can have a perfect view of Ciutadella's marina and old port. The Main Tourist Information Center is situated also here. Roughly 200 hundred meters walking Eastwards you can encounter the beautiful Santa Maria Cathedral.
If you come with the car, there are several hundred parking places (you have to pay from 9:00 am to 1 PM and then from 6 pm - to 8pm). Tuesdays and Saturdays are market days with the plaza being invaded by locals selling their products.
