A typical rambla of many mediterranean spanish cities. This one is not too long but it is very charming, on the sidewalk there are boutiques and the middle part is perfect to walk covered from the sun by the high trees

This streetscape reminded me of a similar pedestrianised main street in Havana in Cuba -- it must have been the Spanish influence of the old conquistadores! There are seating areas on this wide paved passagio, tree-lined and with lots of activity. Clearly a popular meeting...More

You shouldn’t rush a stroll along the Passeig as you may miss all of the beautiful architecture and some of the shops. Better still take a seat for a while and take in all of that history. And don’t forget your camera or you’ll regret...More

This is a major tree lined street through the middle of Palma that is great for strolling (evening or mid-day paseo) due to its many shade trees. Along the path are shops, restaurants, vendors, fountains, street performers and plenty of places to just sit, relax,...More

It could be a place reserved for tourists! But, fortunately, one may distinguish lots of local enjoying as well this shadowed street.

Choice and individuality abounds and good quality everywhere. Shops and restaurants fir every day or evening of the week. So much to see, so little time!

This is one of the main shopping streets in Palma with many big name shops. It is shady and tree lined and leads to some fountains which are pleasant when it is hot. Many narrower streets lead onto it which contain smaller, more local shops.

We loved walking down this street under the amazingly tall trees that provided shade from the hot sun. Lovely shops and cafes on either side as well, with seating in the center. My kids enjoyed the dancing panda at the start of our walk and...More

This is the classiest part of Palma and well worth a visit with its tree lined square and old historic and interesting buildings. There are some up-market shops as well.
