- Peter BSolihull, United Kingdom349 contributionsFantastic range of sea life.Section 1 or 2 were absolutely amazing and the whole place is very well looked after. The rest felt a little underwhelming in types and quality of fish once you’ve seen such a delightful range. Overall still good value for money!Visited December 2022Travelled soloWritten 27 December 2022
- Danya B2 contributionsMe encanta Palma AcuarioIncredible. I went solo and was having a hard time personally in my life at this time. Decided to take myself on a journey around Majorca, and came here. The first aquarium i’ve been to ever, and it was simply spectacular. I loved every moment of it and it wasn’t even too expensive. I personally had an even more amazing time because of a certain employee talking with me for an HOUR about all sorts of marine life and I learnt so much. Her name was Mara Argüello Paz. Thank you Majorca.Thank you for your review, knowing that you enjoy the experience we work for every day is the greatest joy for the whole team at Palma Aquarium.Written 18 April 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2022Travelled soloWritten 27 March 2023
- Betina3 contributionsFantastic family tripFirst of all, its the largest aquarium I have been to so far. There are lots of tanks with a big variety of sealife. It’s well kept, and the sealife is treated with respect. There is a lot of things to do for all ages. Don’t miss out on speaking with the employers at their stations. They know a lot and is eager to tell everything they know, and trust me they know a lot. The cinema is also a fantastic experience. What I am even more happy about is, that they don’t have captivated sea mammals as dolphins and others as they belong in the sea where they have enough space, so thank you.Thank you for your review, knowing that you enjoy the experience we work for every day is the greatest joy for the whole team at Palma Aquarium.Written 19 September 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 6 September 2023
- LushesFaithUnited Kingdom98 contributionsIts a big AquariumPalma Aquarium was an excursion chosen by my teens. The tanks are huge and clean. The fishes seem happy enough. The Shark tank is something to admire Its so tall and goes right over your head. We got gold passes/tickets which included backstage pass. This allowed us to tour the behind the scenes stuff that takes place helping marine life recover and repopulate. Our guide gave lots of information. He was multilingual so every one could hear the info in our native tongues. He taught us the importance of getting help for marine animals that are trapped and Majorca has marine sea life emergency number you can call should you find any sea life in need of help. Our gold tickets included lunch which was a big burger chips and pudding and drink. Not sure if there was any options and the language barrier meant I didn’t bother ask. As the first offer was fine anyway. I will be on my language app more often. I just want functional language skills. As you approach restaurant and souvenir area you are met with the pics you took earlier when you walked in and with the Macaw Parrot bird already printed etc. It was €10 euros per picture. The cost of our trip to the Aquarium was expensive but included transfers to and from the venue via tui excursions. I always feel Aquariums are over priced for what it is but they are worth visiting. The teens were satisfied. Oh and plenty of seating areas for you to sit down relax and take it all in.Thank you for sharing your opinion, we value the input of all our visitors.Written 2 October 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 September 2023

The shark tank was definitely a highlight. The canteen is a bit cheap and cheerful. There is a nice outdoor section and unexpected jungle area! It wasn’t busy while we were there. - HELEN W3 contributionsAverageThe place was clean and the staff were friendly but it was very busy with not really that much to look at. We bought the photograph that gets taken as soon as you get through the entrance and we got photographs with a parrot too as they were very good quality and the proceeds go to the Aquarium’s protection of species and conservation campaigns. We went as part of a tour package and struggled to fill the 3hrs. We thought we could fill some time by having an early lunch as we’d been up since 6.30am but there wasn’t anywhere serving food at 11.30am so we left early and had a lovely meal at a place across the road instead.Thank you for sharing your opinion, we greatly value the contributions of all our visitors. Palma Aquarium is a marine park where you can visit the 24,000m2 of the park to observe and contemplate the beauty of our oceans, as our facilities are home to more than 8,000 specimens of more than 700 different species of fauna and flora from all over the world. You can also visit the jungle, which is the largest rooftop garden in Spain and one of the largest in Europe, we also have one of the deepest shark tanks in Europe, as well as an exhibition of live corals that is unique in the world. In addition, you can enjoy our gardens, the whale exhibition, our interactive games, the complementary activities that you can do during your visit such as the 3D Cinema Aquadome or the Shark Vision Boat. - Danielle M2 contributionsA great family day out!We booked the aquarium, shark boat and back stage tour and really glad we did. Seeing sharks through the glass bottom boat was amazing! The back stage tour was so interesting and talks to how hard the staff work to maintain and keep the aquarium life safe. It was so interesting to see the turtles and the little babies and really hits home how we as humans can do better at how we conserve nature for our future. My 7 year old has decided we are a plastic free household from now on. The aquarium is a good afternoon out and good value for money. The 3d show was OK but could have been better. Other than this, all in all definitely worth a visit .

The Aquadome 3D film was produced by Coral World International. It captures real images recorded in 3D on live expeditions over several months, in order to convey in the most reliable way the feeling of immersion in the ocean to learn how humpback whales live. The interactive exhibition "Whales", which complements the film, of approximately 500 m2, also offers interesting information for the preservation of this fabulous species.

Very little to see, mostly small fish in large bowls, extremely crowded, outside space very poor, uncomforting approaches from staff to buy photographs, very expensive for what it was! Avoid

Very expensive entry. Cost €105 for 2 adults and 2 children. Lots to see, better than the aquarium at home. €10 for a photographer. But it’s not worth the money. Spend about 30-40mins going round. Very busy when it’s raining, so can’t see most of the fish tanks.

It's definitely worth a visit, went as a couple with a 2 month old baby, it's very crowded in places and you might have to wait a little to see what you want, you have a photo taken at the entrance, I guess you do feel pressure to purchase, you're told they're optional to purchase but they do give you a lot of bother until you say yes, not a problem for us since we wanted the photo anyway. Not a chance can you spend a full 8 hours here though, we ended up taking a walk down to the beach and getting some food and drink.

We spent 5 hours here. If you time it in for the live feeding it's worth the entrance fee. Afraid I can't remember exact times when the sharks get fed possibly 1pm

Il y a un restaurant dans l'aquarium, pas grand chose autour pour se restaurer. Si vous voulez prendre votre temps pour la visite, prevoyez plutôt de pique niquer un peu avant midi et de profiter du calme relatif entre 12h et 14h.
