This is a uniquely charming beach, almost a private cove from the ocean. One side is nestled by a large hill / small mountain with a huge statue of Jesus looking down over the beach - quite special. Note: that side is first impacted by...More

It was on a Summer day, but the beach was not too crowded. We had a wonderful time walking around, collecting shells....perfect afternoon.

Fantastic sandy beach, can get a bit packed at times, but their is always a quiet spot to be found somewhere. Beautiful views of the bay, bars and restaurants close by and the old town is a 2 minute walk away. The tide does come...More

La Concha beach is a must visit in San Sebastian. It is a very large beach with plenty of vibe all around it. Highly recommended.

It's a postcard Beautiful beach setting and outstanding scenery of the town, however we did not actually lay on the beach. Just not our style to throw a towel down on the beach instead of laying on a typical resort lounge chair ...as we are...More

It's lovely to just stroll up and down the Concha beach walk looking out at sea for as far as possible, surrounded by green hills and french arquitectural buildings while people walk, cycle, run and laugh.

It was wonderful to walk up and down the promenade, go to restaurants and people watch. The area is small enough that you can go everywhere.

This is a beautiful beach with lots of people in the summer months. We usually visit museums, churches and other places in the morning and then go to the beach in the afternoon when the day is hotter and longer daylight.

Yes it will be open in fact nice to visit off season. Its a pretty large town not just a tourist place. But the weather is less predictable - oceanic influences mean wet winters and sometimes summers but its a beautiful town.

I guess the other side beach you said is zurriola. Because the other beach which is called ondarreta is connected to la concha. Zurriola beach is nice as it is famous for big great waves. You can spend an half of day... More
