Yes the view is nice, but the sculpture of we can call in this way is somewhat obscene. A block of cement that didn't communicate anything.

A little walk and you will have some pretty amazing views from a top. Definitley a place to take pictures

You need a picture with this monument for sure. Pictures don't do justice when you see how big it actually is. Definitely worth a trip.

If you visit Gijon Santa Catalina Headland is worth a visit. It's just minutes from the beach. To get there you have to climb a very steep hill so would be a problem for people with disabilities or the elderly. However the view is well...More

A pleasant garden area to walk around with some plaques in Spanish describing the battery. Amazing views over the sea. It takes you from the playa de Lorenzo around to the Puerto Deportivo

Very nice walk up from the old town, rewarded with some great views. A nice spot to stroll and spend an hour or so ambling.
