Wonderful spot to see hundreds of happy dogs playing in the surf with their owners standing by actually speaking to one another like humans, not on their phones!

It reminds me of the beaches Paya el Sardinero in Santander and Playa La Concha in San Sebastian or even Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. But, this beach... More

Beautiful large beach close to both the old town and the town centre. Very popular with locals and tourists alike, and a great spot to stroll for an hour or so.

Worth strolling along and taking in the view and smelling the Atlantic. Water was a little cold in September, but a nice memory.
