We came back to this place several times as it has a great atmosphere. It is huge with the Basilica on one side and lots of cafes on the other. There was an art installation of a herd of rhinos by Roberto Fabelo called Liderazo when we were there. Also groups of young pilgrims singing and adding to the atmosphere. There is so much going on, it is fun just to sit and watch it all.

Surrounded by wonderful architecture, but with plenty of open space. There were some quirky displays, related to Goya, present when we visited. Lots of cafes around the plaza that seemed to be very popular.

What a fabulous plaza in the heart of Zaragoza. There is a lot of space, stunning architecture surrounding it, cafes line one side, close to the shopping streets and there was an art exhibition in the street.

Beautiful plaza that is centerpiece of the monument area, many outside cafe/bars to eat and relax in. Truly a picturesque setting.

Many notable features are contained in the vast Plaza. Towards the west is a fine monumental sculpture and fountain originating in the early 1990s.
Known as Fountain of Hispanicity its form shows South and Central America in stone and water.
Pilar Cathedral is vast and wonderfully placed. Its spires and styles are superb.
The Town Hall is another fine edifice and is modelled on Palaces of the Renaissance.
Monument to Goya is a fine tribute to the great artist.

Lots of lovely bars/restaurants along one side and the Basilica, statues, water features and museaums make it very picturesque.

If you want to feel like you are in Europe this is the place for you. Surrounded by beautiful buildings, there are people eating, drinking and strolling here in the beautiful setting. Amazing site.

Beautiful square that runs infront of the Basilica de Neustra Senora del Pilar, The Seo del Salvador, La Lonja etc. Nice to visit during the day and at night when the fountain is lit.

A plaza that come alive at night! Vibrant with lots of activities and intricate architectural details. One of my favourite in Spain. The Plaza is surrounded by the town hall, Basillica and the Hispanic Fountain
