Well worth a stroll around this and all the Expo area

A very well thought-out urban park with added water features (though not many of them appeared to be in use when I visited). I would recommend walking through here and all the Expo area in order to appreciate the stunning modern architecture. The tour bus drops you off!

We looked at Google Earth prior to our visit and saw this park also Expo2008 exhibition. When we arrived it had long gone, what a pity however we did find some other interesting places around the park then made off into the City.

Past glory in decay. The glory days of the 2018 expo are long gone. The expo with the theme “Water and Sustainable Developement” has ironically managed to sustain nothing. The iconic bridge das closed repairs another showed worrying signs of rust and the actual water park with all its buildings contained no water a lot of local weeds and most buildings were barred off.

Never the less it must have been an amazing sight in its prime a mere 14 years ago. How much money has been wasted for a few months of expo I can’t begin to imagine.

Abandoned park. No more services

The part of the park on the other side of the bridge is abandoned: abandoned spaces, closed restaurants. Except for a quiet jog, for the rest I advise against
