El Ebro is one of the most important rivers in Spain and it crosses Zaragoza, the main city in Aragon Region. It is a very big river, which you can see from the lookout of the Tower of El Pilar Cathedral, cross it on different bridges or only see it from the river bank and follow it during some Kilometers. Very nice views, especially from the tower lookout.

The Ebro is the longest river in Spain and flows through 20 cities, one of which is Zaragoza, on its way to the Mediterranean Sea. The pictures are taken from a tower of the Basilica de Nuestra Señora de Pilar.

River Ebro in thick fog is like participating in a fairytale - romantic, dramatic, a little scary … Harry Potter, come save us!

Nice Roman era bridge, which isn't necessarily great in itself but offers a very nice view of the basilica from the river

Beautiful river, best appreciated from the Piedra bridge where you can see the spectacular reflections of the Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar on its' surface.

The main river of Spain from which the name of the Peninsula and the national airline is derived is not impressive. On the way from Zaragoza to Logroño and Bilbao, it flows along the way or you cross it as in Miranda del Ebro. In General, this is not the Volga, the Rhine, or the Danube. The Ebro is only navigable from Zaragoza to the mouth, but in summer this is not believed. It looks like you can Wade through it under the Puente del Piedra.

Whether viewed from one of the bridges that span the Ebro or along one of the riverside pathways, the Ebro is a wonderful natural attraction that only adds to the beauty of Zaragoza.
