Found this small gallery tucked in a small alley behind the crowded plaza. After showing the passports to verify the age, they gave us free pass as senior category. The lady even offered a locker key to put our bags before entering the museum, again for free. We saw many paintings influenced the great painter, and alo many artists' work... More

If you are going to enjoy the big collection of Goya paintings maybe this museum is not a great choice because the only one room on the second floor (there are 3 floors in museum) displays his masterpieces. But if you are once there you will be surprised by the collection of the famous Spanish painters from Francisco Goya's brother... More

So this is an excellent little gallery of art, mostly focused on Goya, but there's some good exhibits about what came before and after him too. The best part, though, is the selection of prints he made. I never knew about this side of Goya-I always associated him with the oil paintings he did so well. But these prints were... More

The etchings are the highlight. These give a haunting insight into the Spanish War of Succession. Note: Goya's more famous art is in El Prado in Madrid.

There are 3 floors to visit, the best were the etchings, and the great thing about it was the English description, quite a few places we visited have no translation which is frustrating when you don't read Spanish. I personally enjoy visiting galleries and whilst not all the exhibits were Goya's work I still found this enjoyable.

Only 14 early works....so don't expect to much. But the small etchings are extensive and very well presented. That was the best part of our visit. Having been to the Gargallo mueseum in town the day before (it is fantastic), this was much less interesting to us, and not nearly as well presented

The only floor worth visiting is the second which houses Goya's black and white prints , superb. The rest of museum contains art before and after Goya. You have to decide....

We enjoyed a huge display of Goya's etchings and early work. Maria de Jesus was a show hanging downstairs that was very well done- it showed two great paintors and then paintors from different years and their take on the famous nun. Beautiful space, great video on Goyas life on the first floor- a must see!

Glad we stopped for a couple of hours to brush up on our knowledge of this interesting artist. Collection includes 14 oil paintings, some demonstrating great talent. We started watching an interesting video for 20 minutes. Collection has a large collection of what might be his entire etchings, Los Cappricho - fantastic and they also give real insight to the...
