A wonderful place, we came and day and night, could not enjoy all the splendor. In this place is an indescribable atmosphere of antiquity, comfort, high art. Many street cafes, which create an additional comfort.

So much walking , it was nice to enter this plaza and rest for a while, enjoy the views and admire it's fountain and it's designs. It is also a place where you can get a horse buggy ride experience.

This plaza, lying between the cathedral and the Real Alcazar, draws both people and pigeons. A lovely spot for a quick stop.

The Plaza del Triunfo is beside the Cathedral and in its center there is a small monument that has the figure of the Virgin Mary and Child. It commemorates the terrible earthquake of Lisbon of 1755.
