This is a very popular, very 'local' sherry cum tapas bar close to the cathedral and the Giralda in Seville. My sister had been there before and guided me to it, together with another friend. It was standing room only at first, elbow to elbow, with no regard for 'social distancing', but such an experience that we soon forgot our concerns! Eventually our patience was rewarded with a tiny high table to sit at. The sherry was plentiful (and - of course - superb). The tapas we wanted to eat were a nightmare to order, with the man taking our order then forgetting many of the items chosen - quite chaotic! But the atmosphere and experience of this lovely little bar. will stay with me forever. Those food items which did, finally, arrive were hot and tasty. Don't miss the giant jars of sherry in the back part of the bar (go out into the street to enter the rear seating area). This is a crowded place, but I would urge others to persevere - it's worth it!

Very busy place . Be patient to get a table or you can stand at the bar. Food was good . They ran out of the cod tapas early. Service depending on the waiter or waitress you got . Fun experience.

This was a terrible tapas bar. The food was not authentic at all - clearly they are used to catering for other nationalities that don’t really get genuine Spanish cuisine. The service was fairly ordinary as well with one surly women serving who kept disappearing to the other end of the bar to avoid taking an order - interesting way to run a business. Avoid it.

It was a wine shop many years ago ,and the huge old wine Vats are still standing in place adding a bit of nostalgic atmosphere to the old wooden bar that's used for storing bottles of Cava , Sherry and wine .
The atmosphere is very good ,the décor amazing , and the food is spectacular .
Tapas and "sherry " can be matched on order and explained which to have with each dish .Happy and well informed staff will make any visit a pleasure .

Four of us visited on two consecutive evenings and loved the informal and friendly atmosphere. The tapas were fabulous and the service was helpful and efficient. The large earthenware cats provide a nice rustic backdrop to the restaurant. All finished off with a lovely glass of chilled fino after the meal. Thanks to all at Casa Morales - it will be remembered by us all for a long time.

I just loved this place. It was heaving with locals and tourists alike and the food was wonderful I had cuttlefish and gulas (elvers I think) for the first time and we were brilliantly looked after. However, above all, I could have just sat there for hours and enjoyed the atmosphere. If you want to experience authentic and interesting tapas and you only have one chance while you are in Seville then go here.

Be sure to get here as soon as they open as it gets busy fast (in both parts of Casa Morales!) Food is delicious. Came here two out of three nights while staying in Seville. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

The food was nice (especially the jamon y salmorejo) although the list of tapas was too long to try too many but it was extremely busy and the service was just average.

TripAdvisor reviews encouraged our visit. Although it’s a nice old-looking bar and a buzzing back room, it’s advisable to know what you’re to be charged.

We popped in for a couple of sangrias each and ordered some jamon snack. We were used to paying around €6 for a plate of jamon and €1.00 - €1.50 for a glass of sangria. Not at this place.

The very unengaging bar man didn’t make us feel at all welcome. We assumed it was a regular bar because there was nothing special about the service or drinks. The jamon was INCREDIBLY fatty (see pics). And for that we were charged €24!

Too expensive for a basic bar.

So, while wandering across the streets of Seville, we bumped into this cute (Not Little) tapas bar, by the name of Hijos De E.Morales (locally known as Casa Morales). They had this really positive vibe that pretty much most bars and pubs give in the Eurozone, yet it was special. We had a shot of Brandy and some potato chips (Highly recommended) and chicken meatballs. This place is a must visit.
