This is the plaza upon exiting the Alcazar. It is a courtyard with orange trees planted along the sides. Certain parts of the building exterior is in need of a coat of paint. This is a good spot to take a photo of the Giralda...More

This is the Plaza from which visitors exit the Alcazar. There is nothing much of interest to visitors however as it is merely functional as an exit point and entrance point to Santa Cruz.

You will walk through it as you leave the Alcazar complex. As orange gardens go, this one is not special. It was probably much nicer in earlier times. From the patio, you have the opportunity to photograph the Alcazar and the cathedral.

The Plaza Patio de Banderas is really a part of the Alcazar and one can see it as one leaves the palace and enters the city. It has a very good view of the Giralda Tower.

One gets a lovely view of the Giralda Tower and is atheistically pleasing which why it is a good spot for photographs. Spend a little time enjoying the peace and serenity.

Plaza Patio de Banderas: the place is very romantic and the perfect picture with the Giralda behind your back.

You won't miss it because is right at the beginning of barrio Santa Cruz and you will exit the Alcazar right by this plaza. Don't miss a little street in one of the corners (Calle Juderia) that curves under a low arch and opens into...More

Situated alongside the cathedral, we ate here yesterday for lunch....sangria and beer were good...I ordered a toasted Jamon and cheese 'roll' which was tasty but hubby's club sandwich was huge and with chips...that really would have been enough for 2. A number of other people...More
