Yet another church in Seville. Very similar to most with a gold lined altar. If you are passing worth a quick look inside but otherwise missable.

The church is located on Laraña street, near the Encarnación Market at the Plaza Mayor and was built in the 16th cenury.
In the 18th century, it became the church of the University of Seville. However, the university moved in the middle of the 20th century.
The interior is a bit dark. but awesome.
Admission is free (from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM ans 6 - 9 PM, on Sundays only from 10 AM - 1 PM), although a (small) donation will always be appreciated.

We visited the church after going up on the Metropol parador. You can get a great view from above on the parador. Once inside it is amazing. They had the most detailed nativity scene on display I had ever seen. You should definitely pop in for a look if in the area

The day we arrived it was closed. We walked the outside enjoying the beautiful tiles on the exterior of the structure. The architecture is amazing. Looking forward to entering.

Iglesia de la Anunciacion is a Jesuit Church situated in Calle Larana opposite the wooden Parasol. The achitecture is austere except the alter which is gold and features a fine painted triptych. Of the original structure only the doorway survives. The Jesuits were expelled from Spain at the end of the 18th century.

This church has some good artwork and a golden Altar. It also has a nice organ over the doorway. It is situated in the Plaza de Encarmacion and is next to the big modern structure of the Parasol. Nice to visit or or to sit down and reflect.

The main altar of the Church of the Anunciacion has very good art. There is art from Antonio Mohedano and also from Juan de Roelas. The retable was made in 1606 by the Jesuit Alonso Matias.

We visited this church to see the thrones that are used for the Holy Week processions. The throne of Nuestra Señora del Valle was quite beautiful. One of the altars dedicated to the Immaculate Conception was very beautiful too. And of course the main altar is very beautiful and calls attention for its art.

The Iglesia de la Anunciacion is located at Calle Laraña, 1. This is beside the Plaza de la Encarnacion. The building was planned by the Jesuit priest Bartolome Bustamante in 1565, and constructed by Hernan Ruiz. The church has the Latin Cross design and the main chapel has a vaulted ceiling. The doorway at the façade has two parts. The lower part has an arch with two niches, while the upper part has three niches with the sculpture of the Virgen con el Niño in the center and flanked with the statues of San Jose and San Rafael, works of the 18th century. The cupola is adorned with ceramic tiles from Seville and there is a bell tower. The main altar was made of gilded wood and was the work of Alonso Matias in 1606. The central painting is the Sagrada Familia, created by Juan Roelas. Beside this are paintings of the Adoration of the Shepherds and the Epiphany. Above is a painting of the Annunciation of Antonio Mohedano and another of Los Santos Juanes with sculptures of San Pedro and San Pablo. Other important chapels are those of the Inmaculada, San Juan Bautista, La Virgen de Belen, and the Hermandad del Valle.
