Even in mid September long lines to visit this cathedral. Opening is 11am and even by 10am there were people in the queue. We didn't do the roof tour just the main cathedral area. Incredible stonework and artistry. The highlight for us was the tomb...More

Not being a religious or architectural scholar, all I can tell you is that it's fairly pretty. Giralda tower offers some pretty awesome views of Seville, and Columbus' grave is impressive. If you're really in to cathedrals you'll probably enjoy this. Apologies for the fairly...More

The sheer size and magnificence of the cathedral drives home just how awesome it is. I could only imagine what it must've been like in its early days when the surrounding buildings were comparatively simpler and this establishment drove home its theological message. One needs...More

We have visited 3 times now beginning in 1972. There are fascinating facts and features regarding the history and the architecture, but we prefer to view it from a distance now as an iconic part of the skyline of old Sevilla.

Also a must see in Seville. Beautiful. We did not have to buy tickets in advance or take a tour with a group, It is across the street from the Alcazar. We used the audio guides which was more than adequate. I would allocate 1-2...More

We used a guide and it was well worth it. The history of this church, the chapels, artwork, sculptures, etc. This is a MUST do when you visit Seville.

We didn't make it inside this trip however this is a beautiful building. The area around the cathedral is also great and worth spending time strolling around here. I have been inside the cathedral and to the top on a previous visit and it's definitely...More

If you want to avoid the long line go early or as we did first visit the iglesia colegial divino salvador church on the plaza del salvador just a few blocks from the cathedral. It's a lovely church. Small line to get in and there...More

The cathedral internally is spectacular but what made it was the rooftop tour for only 6 euros extra than the admission to the cathedral. Wonderful views, hugely interesting guided tour, brilliant guide, and seeing how the cathedral was built and into places you wouldn't ever...More

Amazing cathedral! Recommend the audio or group tour might be easier. Expect to spend 2 hours and walk to the top of the tower it's a ramp.

If you go to the Salvador church (a short walk away) first, there is a short line and you can buy admission for that church and for the Cathedral at the same time. It is a "combination ticket", nine euros per person for both... More

I really think it closes at 3.30pm on a Monday and 5pm Tuesday to Saturday. The online booking site is awkward - but manageable with persistence. If you pre-book you are not given a time slot so you can turn up at any... More
