We stopped here as a group to relax during our orientation tour of Seville. There are a couple of candy stores near to each other, also one on Calle Susona which is just meters away, on a street that has a dark history.

One of the many lively squares in Sevilla - with the orange trees and a little fountain in the middle, it's a perfect place for a break after exploring te city. Tends to be less crowded than other places.

Plaza de Dona Elvira is a lovely plaza, enclosed by some nice old buildings. There are a few cafes and restaurants and you could have your lunch or your coffee without being worried too much about excessive noise, depending on the time of day ... This Plaza has a bit of history and it is rumoured this is the exact spot where the famous legend of Don Juan actually started. Apparently, according to the unlikely story, the father of Doña Elvira, for whom the Plaza is named, had a house in this spot, but it is not known what really happened in the meantime.... Still, it's worth a visit.

This is a lovely, quiet little square in Barrio Santa Cruz - a great place to sit, relax, and people watch.

Almost all places to eat in the Santa Cruz neighborhood are highly touristic, but, if you would like to eat there, chose a restaurant in the Dona Elvira Square, is one of the most pleasant squares in the neighborhood. Very shady, very cozy. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars.

We stayed in the Hotel Doña Elvira, so our room overlooked this little gem of a square. It's full of orange trees, providing a wonderful, shaded, green respite from the hot sun. The square is lined with restaurants and cafés, and features a fountain in the middle, with colorful, mosaic-covered benches all around. It can get noisy at times, when hordes of people on guided tours descend, but it's still a beautiful square.
