We visited the Doñana from the east, starting with a 30 min boat ride up the Guadalquivir from Sanlucar de Barrameda. The boat lets you off at a reconstructed traditional fishing village with reed huts. Very interesting. Then we boarded a Unimog minibus that took...More

We aren't avid twitchers but thoroughly enjoyed our day out here. We simply went to the main centre at Acebuche and spent time in the hides seeing birds we had never seen before! The downside was that the lady at the reception couldn't speak any...More

Firstly, had we been able to have an English speaking guide, I would have given 5 stars. But without that and if we hadn't been reasonably familiar with bird species I can't give five stars. The only way to see the park and a place...More

We had a car so we drove. It's about 50km from Huelva to the Park Office at El Acebuche, thus a taxi may be expensive.
