The food was amazing! We picked out fresh fish straight from the stands and had it cooked and prepared. The chefs used fresh, delicious ingredients and everything tasted so delicious. In addition, the fish was very cheap and the bill was around 40 euros for a family of four with multiple dishes of salmon, white fish, mussels, and clams

RAW MATERIAL: walking we looked at an overstocked school of fish and it turns out that that fish is cooked in the next stand. A freshly cooked paella PERFECT , prawns and magnificent fish (very generous portions and affordable prices). The staff is very anxious between the tables stuck together. TIP!!!! Avoid this ONLY IF you do not tolerate noise and people talking. Closed Sun and Monday (unfortunately)

The Sant'Augustin market in Granada was also the subject of our visit during the tour of Andalusia. Here we had good fish at affordable prices at the local "Materia Raw Material".
Here you can stop for a breakfast, a snack, but also just for a drink. The must is always the same as throughout Spain, affordable prices unlike our country of cunning.

Great place to eat seafood. We made it around 11 which was great bc we beat the lunch crowd. A little overwhelming cause all the restaurants are trying to hook you to eat at their place. They all seem to be getting the seafood from the stalls next to them so super fresh. We ended up eating at materia prima. Did not regret our choice.

This bustling market is a must see in Granada whether you’re buying fresh fish and meat or eating. Braised octopus and grilled fish were amazing. Busy exciting atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Interesting market with high quality produce on offer- good quality jamon, cheeses, olives and olive oil. Lots of fresh seafood and meat too. The market is small and niche but has an interesting history and is nice to have a wander. It's not cheap but it's good qaulity stuff.

Wonderful experience. I have been to the market three times and had a great time every time. I recommend the 16€ squid from Materia Raw Material. Fresh is delicious. They brought me home!!
And then the tasting of Granada hams and cheeses from Maquila. All very good and at a great price!

We stumbled on this seafood restaurant while walking through the Mercado and were so impressed! The mussels and cod croquetas were exquisite! The seafood was fresh from the sellers within the market. We only wish we had had time to sit for full meal. Highly recommend!

So, not sure why someone earlier said this wasn’t worth a special trip. If you are hungry for fresh and reasonable seafood you can select from the fishmonger and then have it prepared as you would like it. We had an amazing assortment of crab and langostinos and carbineira red shrimp and baby calamari cooked beautifully. Add good wine and a side of seafood paella- all for a 1/4 of the price we would expect in the US. And you can also pick up fresh meat, fish, veggies, jamon- to take home like at a regular market. Don’t miss it if you love food!

No te sabría responder.
