I went there without knowing what to expect. Well it was astonishing. This house has been built by a painter at the beginning of the 20th century. A lot of levels, gardens in the house. It's only guided visits and the guide was really good. If you like architecture you must see it.

This is a wonderful place and the hour long guided tour is well worth it. Fabulous architecture including lovely gardens with panoramic views of Granada. The art spans many centuries and is a small gem of a collection.

This lovely estate or carmen offers glorious views of Granada from a number of gardened terraces, and it's worth your 5€ for that alone. Plus, the vistas rival those from St. Nicholas' Viewpoint without having to trek there and back! Oh and it's also a museum -- of sorts. In my case, a very charming, articulate young woman -- an... Jose Maria Rodriguez-Acosta was a famous painter at the start of the 20th century and he built his house over many years during the first decades of the 20th century. Basically the building follows the Art Deco style and is built on the side of the hill. Inside the building one finds the art gallery, which contains many important art... More

The grounds of the estate are absolutely stunning. There are multiple levels of gardens with ponds, statues, columns, with magnificent views over the city. There are caves and underground tunnels that are very cool to explore. The style of the building is somehow Art Deco with traditional local influences. The owner built it over a period of 15 years when... More

Our Alhambra tour pack included a visit to Carmen of the Rodríguez-Acosta, traditional house with enclosed garden. It is located on the Mauror hill, just nearby Alhambra. Built by Rodríguez-Acosta a Granada painter in early 20th century. We could enjoy views over Granada’s fertile plain and the Sierra Nevada Mountain at the garden terraces. It was romantic experience to walk... More

Discover this place as part of a walking tour of museums of Granada. Cost EUR 5 pp and our tour of the 'house, 'gardens' and gallery took just over 45 minutes. This place is really worth visiting.

It might be a nice place, but we tried for half hour to find parking space nearby. No way. We asked the person at the reception if it's possible to unlock one of the few parking spots along the foundation wall, it was not possible (no explanation why!)

Sorry a lot, we want to apologize for your problem with parking. The street where are the entrance to Fundacion Rodriguez-Acosta is too narrow; so it´s very difficult to park there. The best thing is to leave the car in the parking of Alhambra or going on foot since the city centre. Sorry, we hope see you soon More

This is a great place to visit - there is no crowd and the entrance includes a guided tour (our guide furthermore was very knowledgeable and passionate about the place). The gardens and the view are spectacular.

Since the Alhambra general entrance tickets were sold out through ticketmaster, we booked the combined ticket offering both the Alhambra and Fundaćion Rodríguez-Acosta site. After touring the Alhambra, we walked over to the museum. There were only one or two signs guiding us in the general direction but it took some time to find the museum. Our ticket included a...
