Very ornate. took the tour, better than the actual Cathedral. Definate must see. The staff actually let us in prior to the published opening time, so that was nice.

This is a beautiful space for a mass and in my opinion nicer than the famous cathedral! Beautiful aesthetic, as well.

Wonderful artefects and great history. The place is spectacular. Good commentary giving very detailed descriptions of each section of the basilica. The tabernacle section is particularly atmospheric.

This basilica was so impressive... they did not miss one detail when designing/decorating it. The gold and silver everywhere is out of this world. The audio that goes with the tour is a little long and boring (about 45 minutes) but it does give a...More

Found this place after we had visited the monastery. For 4 euro's you get a glance of a lot of gold. Wheter you like it or not it is impressive to see and amazing how they all made it during that time. Do go upstairs...More

Don't miss the Basilica. The inside is absolutely fantastic. Take the audio guide which is very informative and also visit the museum.

Having travelled to many churches around Europe this really stood apart from the rest. It really is spectacular and we didn't mind paying the 6 euros each for the entrance price. It really is quite captivating and can take your breath away.

no need to purchase in advance. We found very few queues in Granada even though we read that there would be.

Hallo. Just like the other contributors have answered, this is not the Cathedral. Now 2 points to note, if you like the Church of Saint John of God, the curator of the church recommended that I go and visit the same high... More
