I felt embarrassed to have taken friends here hoping for an evening of wonderful flamenco. Everything was second rate. Hopeless, amateur dancing, mediocre guitar playing. Horrible venue and foul wine. The guy running the show knows it. When I said it was awful he smiled in a semi apologetic way. Under no circumstances go to this sham.

The transportation arrangement was haphazard. The costumes seem old. The performance was, well ok. We had the dinner package. The food was uninspiring. We wished we didn't do it.

Overpriced show, food&beverages are not worth the money being taken at the entrance. The first impression when being seated is to run away and ask for money back. Out of curiosity stayed for the first half of the performance. Poor and wofn out costumes bought from the neighbour cheapest souvenir shop. Unprofessional, unspectacular, uninteresting and whatever "un" related to the... More

I was there yesterday.18.11 I used to play flamenco for years.and I know!! the art for many years. I have been to many shows since childhood. Well it was a joke yesterday. The cave is small, and you r looking at another tourist face. The first group was bad the dancer was tough with no passion, the singer was o.k and the... More

I have been to other flamenco shows in Granada and Sevilla, and this was definitely sub-par. The dancers went through the motions, acting bored and angry with the audience. No photos. Food was served to a group in the back of the cave and they must have been hungry because they were filling their plates, which angered the main dancer... More

The show was fascinating. The dancers and musicians evidence a true love of the art. I love Flamenco and the power of the dancers, along with our proximity to the performance, was quite an experience. The Tablao, Flamenco performance, was genuine. You could read that in the dancer's body movements as well as in their faces. At intervals, their faces... More

What it lacks in modern organizational services, it makes up for in spicy character and raw energy. I booked tickets for a flamenco 'dinner show' in advance, through Viator. The promised hotel pick up missed us and did not notify us, so we took a cab to get there for the show. The host grabbed the voucher and hustled inside... More

We went to Los Tarantos for the early (9 p.m.) show and dinner. We had to wait until a group of tourists was finished eating (and moved to other seats in the cave) before we could sit down...and quickly realized that we were the only group dining while this show was going on. From the reviews there seem to be multiple caves and troupes under this banner with some dramatic differences in the troupes. The start was far from auspicious as the bus arrived some 15 minutes late (and it was raining), then (as our friend described) a guy that looked like a classic mafioso (fedora and trench coat) checked the tickets. Finally... More
