Online tickets purchased well in advance with time slot .
Please arrive half an hour in advance as it is a long walk from the car park to the entrance.
Bring passport / ID otherwise no entry .
They strictly control this.
In line they tried to create shade with umbrellas but it is very hot high summer but we knew that.
Everywhere drinking fountains are sometimes a little further apart but they are there.
The palace is amazing in one word, the architecture, the fantastic mosaics, you look out.
We went without a Guide and the audio online faltered a bit, but walking around on our own we liked better than in a group.
There are toilets outside the museum, drink and snack vending machines , no restaurant or similar .
An absolute must see when you're in Andalusia!

We went to see the Alhambra and Nasdrid Palaces in a tour with a group of 10 which we booked in advance with GetYourGuide, it was definitely a good idea to do so. We selected the 9am slot so the weather was just perfect for the 3 hour tour, the history was unbelievable and the views were absolutely breathtaking, l'd definitely recommend doing this tour which also includes the General Life. Such a beautiful place with rich history to visit when in Granada!

The Nasrid Palaces (Mexuar, Comares Palace and Palace of the Lions) are the highlight of the Alhambra. They are stunningly beautiful and not to be missed. A grand display of Moorish architecture, Islamic calligraphy, stucco, tiles, and carved wooden features. The Moorish palace style incorporated courtyards with fountains and/or gardens surrounded by living and function rooms. The lavish design of the Nasrid Palaces is unmatched in Moorish architecture.
Unfortunately, the popularity of the Alhambra means you could very well miss them if you don't book well in advance. They sell "only" 8,600 tickets for each day, and the tickets sell out every day! Book in advance!

Wow is the word that comes to mind first! Nasrid palace is where the beauty of Alhambra shines IMO! The intricate carving , the imagery and the sheer grandeur of the palace just takes your breath away! It can also get a bit "too much" after a while - so pace yourself.
The tours of Alahmbra need to have specific ticket for Nasrid palace and it is a timed entry. So when you book, make sure you ensure Nasrid Palace is included and specifically mentioned in the ticket. It is a lot of walking on incline so beware!

The Nasrid Palace is a palace that is part of the Alhambra complex. Nasrid Palace is the main building of this complex. It used to be the residence of the ruler of Alhambra, the Sultan of Granada.
The architecture is of course moorish. It is an epitom of Moorish architecture with a beautiful and intricate interior that inspires.
It is beautiful and must be visited especially if you love architecture. And when visiting the Alhambra will definitely visit this palace.

Heart of the Alhambra, known for its elegance and majesty. Every architectural detail, from arches and tiles to fountains and gardens, reflects the grandeur of Islamic art. A tour of the palaces offers a visually stunning and culturally rich experience. It is a must for any lover of architecture and history. An experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Commenced in 1238 by the first of the Nasrid Emirs but the expansions and embellishments reached their apogee during the following century under later Rulers.
In the tradition of Moorish architecture courtyards are surrounded by rooms and halls. All with beautiful artistry in stone, much of it in geometric patterns.

Spain's most popular attractions. You can't get tickets on the spot, they are always sold out online. You have to buy tickets in advance and bring your passport, because it is also scanned at the entrances. There are several destinations in the area and it takes at least 4 hours to get around all of them. The entrance time to the palace itself is defined and you cannot be late. Lots of great things to see.

There are many interesting sights at the Alhambra, but the Nasrid Palaces are definitely the highlight. Bear in mind that the time on your Alhambra ticket is what time you’re entering the Nasrid Palaces, so allow plenty of time. The Palaces are spectacular. We spent an hour walking around. It can get crowded, even though we chose the first slot of the day, and unfortunately some visitors are very selfish when trying to take photographs. But not even they can ruin the experience of seeing the majesty of these palaces up close

Certainly the highlight at the Alhambra. Best to visit together with a guided tour. Book tickets early! One only has one time slot of one hour available. Great very well preserved Moorish palace, so you feel in the Orient.

I have a ticket for a guided tour on Oct 14th but it does not include the Nasrid Palace, they are unavailable online. Is it possible to get tickets the day of or will more open up sometime in the next couple of weeks?

Is this open on a Monday and Alhambra
Written 19 June 2022
I think it's open on Monday, best thing is to check online, best to check their website when booking a visit. Make sure to book in advance, or you will not get a space.
They're strict with your session at Nasrid Palaces, anywhere else you can go anytime during the day I think.

Hi,
I am going to Granada during Christmas. The ticket of Nasrid palace has already run out upon checking this morning.
I m wondering whether it’s possible to buy it at the ticket office ? I have booked a guided tour for other parts of the Al hambra but the place is excluded. Just wondering whether the palace is worth visiting.

I would go with what everyone else said. How did it work out? Did you get tickets?
Written 15 January 2020
Will a night visit to the palace be cold in early March? Are a majority of the must see sights outside? Also, what is the earliest cue time for the night visit?
Written 28 November 2019
We went during the day, however most of the impressive stuff is indeed inside. As to the temperature, no idea I’m afraid.

Ho comprato i biglietti online dal sito ufficiale a 14€. Posso entrare direttamente o devo cambiarli in biglietteria?
Buona visita.
