Lots of shops etc and this is a pleasant stroll with lots of choice, the winding steps from the beach with shops, cafes and bars either side is a great way to enter or exit this area.

Calle San Miguel now has a good mixture of shops, clothes, shoes, bars and restaurants. It is a pedestrian only street so can wander slowly down to the beach. There is also a good chemist who is ready to give advice on bites and sunburn...More

Many shops, bakeries, ice cream and restaurants. Very nice walking street between the city center and the beach. The bars and shops used to be open late like 01:00 and some even more. Strongly recommend to everyone!!

We have been to this area many times. Be very careful and watchful of pick pockets which are an all too frequent occurrence. Be on your guard at all times.

Such a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, wandering through the shops and streets. Many tourist spots, and much choice of goods. Lift your head as you go, though, and enjoy the pots of flowers and stone walls.

Definetley worth a visit. Good shopping. Very pretty and plenty of eateries to choose from. Have a wander around and down the hill you will find some pretty resturants with stunning views.

Depends what takes your fancy? There's shopping around Calle San Miguel. Watersports on Bajondillo beach or you could take a stroll on the nice promenade past La Carhuela beach to Benalmadena. And of course a day trip... More
