We have played Rio Real many times over the past decade, and it has become a firm favourite among a group of 20 that visit annually. In March this year, we had no complaints at all. Sadly, having returned over the weekend of 8th October, I have to say it is in a shocking state. Greens are dreadful, fairways poor... More

Has been an enjoyable round in the past, and no doubt will be again in the future, but course very tatty at the moment and not worth 105 euro. Try Santana instead.

Top notch course that provides a challenge whatever your level. Beautifully manicured fairways and greens. Plenty of variety in the holes. Excellent club house to relax in after it is all over.

Great course in fantastic condition, perfect for holiday golf. More space than the usual Marbella Golf Course for those of us who get a bit wild off the tee. Would definitely play again.

Five and a half hours. Nice course and very playable but not adequately marshalled. Bar and facilities good. Value is OK depending on time of year but it's the same for all courses on the coast. Worth a visit.

nice to play here again but the management should try to book less players on the course. 4hours.30 for a foursome is good golf. service in the restaurant is slow and could be more efficient

Enjoyed 18 holes with friends on a very sunny day in March. Greens and fairways are in lovely condition and the course, although quite tight, offers a very enjoyable round of golf. Hospitality at the club was as good as expected. Will certainly be returning to the course.

Played in a group of 12 and the whole group enjoyed their round. Very playable and relaxed place to play. Would recommend for all handicaps - a great tour course

With a group, we played golf and later had food there. A great golf course - suitable for high and low handicappers! The course was in great condition. Buggys supplied with water. Food after golf was very good - staff were pleasant, in excellent humour and efficient. Nice place!
