We visited the "Antigua casa de guardia" as part of our wine and tapas tour. Great to experience the taste of a typical sweet wine from Malaga. Classic Spanish bodega.

And it is different with Malaga dulce wine served from the barrel and the barrels make a unique surroundings. Seems like nothing has changed here in 100 years, not even the barman

The Antigua Casa de Guardia is quite unique. A range of Malaga sweet wines served directly from the cask at reasonable prices. The appeal of this place is its old style and down to earth atmosphere, which hasn’t changed since the 19th century! This is...More

This is a typical bodega. It is standing and it serves a limited number of tapas. It is not a restaurant.
