Great view of the city!

A very nice introduction to the local culture and the Spanish fortress styles. Lovely garden and views of the surrounding areas.

Quite a hike up hill..... Some will claim it's worth while, others won't. After seeing the the beautiful Alcazaba first, this site was a little disappointing. You do get a very nice view at the city and it's surrounding mountains, but I remain ambient if it's worth the climb or not. Go see for yourself, I'd say.

An enchanting castle! A must see if you're in Malaga!!!! A truly magnificent piece of architecture. Can take a while exploring the ins and outs of this caste - but it's well worth it!! The views from the top are magnificent as you can see mountains on one side and the blue sea on the other side. Truly captivating!

This has to be the prettiest castle I have ever visited, and I have visited castles all over Europe and Asia. It was like a secret garden with all the beautiful gardens and water features dotted all over, and orange trees everywhere. The views over Malaga from the top were breathtaking. The architecture is very beautiful. It cost less than... More

Worth the trip up the hill to walk around the perimeter of the castle and get a view of all of Malaga. You can take the public bus here from the main town area.

We walked up to here after visiting the Alcazaba. Very steep in places, so make sure you take some water with you. Plenty of places to just stop, catch your breath and take great photos if the city below. Same entrance fees as fir the Alcazaba, 2.20€ for adults, 0.60€ for concessions, students and children 6 and above. Think you... More

Enjoyed a few hours here and it was great to be able to walk through the grounds and take in the beautiful sites of Malaga. It only cost 2 Euro's 40 to get is, which is amazingly cheap but if you visit on a Sunday then it is free.

It's a steep climb from the town so catch the local bus number 35 which takes you there . There's a nice cafe for a light lunch and then walk back to the town, brilliant!

It's a bit of a trek but there is a bus if you want. Very cheap to get in. Beautiful views of the city and port. Lovely walks around the battlements.
