Malaga, the proud capital city of the Costa del Sol is a culturally rich, historic and colorful destination.

This city has been home to many diverse cultures from the ancient Phoenician people, of nearly 3000 years ago, to our current Hollywood stars, like Antonio Banderas, passing through Romans, Byzantines, Visigoths, Moors, and Spanish. Among the spanish, one of the most influential painters of the XX century, Pablo Picasso, born in Malaga in 1881.

It only takes a quick glance at a map to realize the commercial and geographical importance of the Province of Malaga. Many people have enjoyed the benefits of the easy access to the Mediterranean and the gateway to two different continents.

Now Malaga plays hosts to millions of tourists every year. The port of Malaga welcomes hundreds of cruise lines every season and the economical airport makes for a great starting point to discover the rest of Spain.

Come and enjoy this sun bathed city, ancient ruins, lively bar scenes and off course, La Playa.

We took the day trip from Malaga to Cordoba. We were picked up at the hotel. Our guide was a substitute, not part of the company but "doing a favor for a friend." He was originally from out of the country but had lived in Malaga for several years, so we appreciated his viewpoint on Spain. He apologized for the... More

We have been on many of these tours and this was probably the most pointless. This is not a bad review about Maria , our guide , she was nice but about the tour in general. We were split into groups as usual and our tour introduction started at 11.15 and the total tour ended at 12.50 , nowhere near... More

After a rocky start we met Pilar for a great food adventure. She took us to several of her favorite places for local food and wine. She was prepared with pictures of the region and the food. It was interesting to learn how the different foods were prepared. Ended the tour with her favorite restaurant in Malaga where we were... More

Very entertaining tour full of insights on Malaga's history. Javier added a special value to it with his sharp and on the spot jokes. His outgoing and entertaining personality makes this tour special and differs it from any others I attended. Javier also answered all the questions and provided with a lot of useful information for after tour activities.

We really enjoyed the tour with Javier. He makes the history of the city come alive with stories and a laugh. We enjoyed a free wine tasting and had a group photo taken with Picasso! We would definitely recommend this tour.

First of all our guide was kind, but did not provide any information we did not know already, any the tapas were in one word terrible. Sorry to tell but the free walk tour we have Done in summertime was great. Think I was not our lucky evening
