It is great to spend a day in the surrounding of beautiful plants of different species ,in the shadow of leafes . Many years ago somebody had a good will to offer such a splendid garden to the public and we should think about the first owners of this place with warm memory.

We spent a lovely morning walking in this garden. The views are great and it was a nice get away from the city.

Based on reviews we visited the gardens and were not disappointed. At the beginning of April the wisteria arch was in full flower and the lack of other visitors meant we were alone on many of the walkways. The cafe was a treat with excellent prices and colourful salads and was worth a visit. It is such a shame that... More

Perfect getaway from the city. Beautiful gardens, and a nice cafeteria with friendly staff. Spotting turtles, lizards and a swimming snake in one of the ponds was an extra treat for the kids!

We walked from Malaga to the gardens although you can get the no 2 bus or the Museum bus. It is about 5 miles to walk but we enjoyed seeing the older tradiitional houses and the market we came across. The garden themselves are full of exotic plants and the wisteria arch which was in full bloom was beautiful

Bus line 2 to San Jose get off at the last stop opposite the Peugeot garage, face the garage's big sign, cross the road and turn right and you will see the Jardtin sign. Follow the sign up the hill and keep going even though it seems you are on a slip road to a motorway and you will eventually... More

Pleasant garden easily accessed off motorway. Wisteria tunnel was looking amazing in full bloom. Otherwise not a huge amount flowering this time of year. But entry is free for the hour before closing so worth a look

It was not easy to find this botanic garden as it is located outside Malaga (takes 20 minutes by car). Avoid a visit on Sunday afternoon as all locals come to visit it as the entrance is then for free. Beautiful old collection of trees and exotic plants

We visited the gardens on a Sunday, taking bus number 2 from the centre of Malaga to the final stop (about twenty minutes). From the stop, the gardens are a further (signposted) fifteen to twenty-minute walk crossing the main road using the underpass. There was free entry when we visited. There are plenty of paths to explore and a café... More

I visited this garden alone on a lovely March day. I began with lunch in the cafe, quiche and a lovely fresh salad, sitting under the trees. I really enjoyed th gardens and although they are obviously still in development, the sheer size and age of some of the trees was stunning and it was lovely to see all the... More
