Spain's Andalusia region—and the city of Jerez de la Frontera—is known around the world for its fortified sherry wine and savory tapas. But for foodies traveling through Jerez, it's challenging to unpack the city's insider food culture. On this private tapas tour, you'll follow a local guide through the old town's winding streets and courtyards to experience the city's best flavors, with drinks and tapas included. Loved: The horses are beautiful, well trained and responsive The beach is long and wide, if you want to tick the 'horse on the beach box' this is for you Didn't like Lack of attention from staff, not easy to find someone to ask about a ride in the first place or to ask questions about the ride on the day (how long, where, can I leave my bag somewhere etc) Beach ride was just walking, not what I wanted as a intermediate and a surprise as I have cantered there in the past. We asked about cantering and were brushed off which I found odd as I've cantered on this beach in the past. In summary, if you want a beginner ride on the beach it ticks the box. If you want to ride and appreciate these amazing horses have a lesson or try one of the many other stables around.

Booked an hour for myself and 3 daughters. We chose a ride in the pine forest as the beach ride wasn't until 9pm, which was a bit late for our youngest (aged 6). After choosing helmets we followed the horse van for about 10 minutes to a lovely location. Jesus and his assistant helped us all to get sorted and then we set off. They both spoke fantastic English. The horses were great - very placid and reliable. Jesus was amazing with the children - putting them at ease, joking and having fun. He and his assistant gave good, clear instructions and made sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to do. We rode for a while and then stopped for ice-cream before heading back. I love horses so this was a treat for me as much as for the children. I would definitely recommend a trek with El Centro Ecuestre Las Marias. Loved the horses, loved the location and felt so well-looked after by Jesus and his assistant.

We booked the 'horse riding on the beach at sunset' and that is exactly what we got. The ride starts behind Puerto Sherry marina, the ride takes you through the pine forest across to the beach, along the beach and back again. The horses are very safe, walking only no trotting or cantering allowed. Suitable for all ages. No riding experience needed. The horses will walk in the sea which makes for some spectacular photos. The hosts will take photos for you with your camera / smartphone if you ask them. Price for the experience was a very reasonable 30 euros per person for one hour. We cannot wait to do it again on our next visit. Magical. Thank you.

Jesus was really fiendly and smoke good english. We went to this place during our stay in El Puerto de Santa Maria and booked an one hour ride through the pine forest. We were a small group with only five persons and horses including the riding instructor. The horses were really well-bahved and relaxed. Fortunately they were not these kind of horses which just walk in row but still had their own mind and were well trained. We can definitly recommend this place to everyone beginners and advanced riders.

Jesus and Jaime speak excellent English and work very well with children. They are incredibly patient and kind. They help the kids have a lot of fun while learning to ride horses. And the lesson prices are much cheaper than anywhere in the states; you'd be a fool not to take lessons. And to top it off, there is a little bar where you can have drinks or eat ice cream while you watch your kids ride.
