Incredible seafood at incredible prices...so fresh, what a difference with a Mediterranean town market. In addition, you can taste lots of tapas and specialties right there around the market. If you want, you buy seafood at the market, bring it up and they will prepare...More

We love markets and always look for them everywhere we visit. This is a must if you are self catering and want local ingredients. Everything we bought here was top quality, from the Serrano ham to the local cheese, bread and fruit (ask for your...More

The Central market has loads of fresh seafood; many different types of fish and shellfish. A few stalls offer vegetables and fruit. Also there is a row of stalls offering fresh and preserved meats.

Great lunch stop in Cadiz - a central courtyard food market with various stores selling everything from pizza and tapas, to sushi. Plenty drinking options too, including some stalls with superb wines. Prices vary from stall to stall, so should be easy to find something...More

Oh, I wish this market had been open; I love a mercado! Normally, this is the place we outsiders can brush up against the local population (as, in "those" people who actually buy fish to cook it for their dinner). The Markets (wherever we go)...More

Nice market, mainly seafood some fruits and vegetables. The main bustle is early with locals buying fresh fish. There are also plenty of cafés/ tavernas around for lunch. Nice to wander and soak up daily life.

Typical Food Market with wonderful displays of fresh fish and shellfish. Very very clean and a must go to place whether you’re interested in buying or browsing.

The best time to visit this market is in the morning around 10. There are lots of places near by to have coffee and try giros. The square definitely comes alive ! I’ve never seen such amazing tuna and seafood. Everything and anything! Made me...More

One of the best fish markets I’ve ever visited. The freshness and range was unbelievable from whole king tuna, mussels and a whole lot I didn’t know the names for.

The fish on display were really interesting, some of them were enormous. Didn’t get the feeling that we were in the way at all. I was surprised that there was so much going on, very clean too. Next door is the flower market which was...More
