This is the center of a beautiful park along the waterfront. We spent some time here strolling slowly, admiring all the busts of heroes of former Spanish colonies. Nice landscaping.

One of the most beautiful parks in Cadiz where you can walk around, hide amongst massive tree trunks, and gaze into wondrous tiled pools of water. Cadiz city government has created a masterpiece out of this seaside location, and it welcomes adults, children, cyclists, and power walkers within its midst. We stopped here during a long bike ride from downtown to the beach. We were in awe of the massive trees whose roots extended far outside the soil, providing safe haven for hide-and-seekers or anyone playing hooky! Definitely a great place to visit!

We took a walk around Cádiz using our guide book and eventually it brought us to this lovely park with its cobble stone walkways, ornate lampposts and various monuments, fountains and statues.
Set next to the sea wall on the northern side of the city it’s a lovely spot to take a break from the world and just sit or eat your picnic.
The birds sing in the trees, you are surrounded by luscious vegetation and while I was there I couldn’t help noticing people of all ages just sat reading books/kindles in perfect peace.
It is definitely not to be missed if you are visiting the city.

This is a gorgeous park - everything you'd want from Andalucia: bougainvillea, fountains, pretty tile work, shaded seating, views of the Atlantic. It's a lovely, relaxing walk.

My wife and I took a leisurely stroll through Alameda Apodaca during our brief stay in Cadiz this past November. It is a beautiful photogenic park located on the sea in historic Cadiz. It has some humongous trees, nice fountains and beautifully landscaped gardens. It is well worth taking a half hour or more to enjoy this peaceful park.

Beautiful walk in Cadiz historic quarter. On one side you have wonderful sea views, while on the other you have beautiful buildings. In the middle, you have fantastic vegetation with massive trees, squares with fountains and some cafes. Bohemian and beautiful, a 'must' in your visit to Cadiz.

We were staying at the PARADOR - a nice walk with plenty of shade - much needed in the summer .
Also a slight breeze off the Atlantic Ocean
